A new Betta

I couldn’t help myself. I stopped by the local pet store and picked up a new Betta. He’s a beautiful black, electric blue, and a teensy bit of red Crown-tail Betta. This picture is pretty close to what he looks like.

The only problem is, that I’m not sure what to name him. Any suggestions?

PS. I buried Vesuvius in the backyard in the iris bed. He’ll make great fertilizer.

  2. a) he looks like a monarch butterfly b) there’s a Gilbert and Sullivan song “I am the monarch of the seas…” appropriate, no? 😀
